God’s Direction – Are you willing?

God wants you to know where you’re going in life and not be unsure of His will for you. He doesn’t want you to falling and wandering around in darkness, unsure of whether the steps you are taking are the right ones or wrong ones. Instead, He wants to make sure that you have clear spiritual perception in hearing, so you can receive specific revelation knowledge regarding the path He wants you to take in life. And, God wants you to stop and ask Him for directions everyday…for his purpose and plans for your life. (A great prayer for this is in Eph. 3:16-21)

So, the prophet Jeremiah, you have a God-given mission and perspective (Jeremiah 1:4-10; 29:11). The key to carrying out this vision, is your ability to receive directions from God through the Holy Spirit and your willingness to immediately obey what He tells you to do.

God therefore wants to give you detailed instructions about which way to go as well as every situation that concerns you. Remember his ways or not yours…He doesn’t just want to deal with you in a vague way either, but in very specific intentions. When you increase your awareness of God’s voice, through prayer, you position yourself to step right into His perfect will for your life.

Proverbs 6:23 says, “For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life.” God’s directions always give light to your vision and direction. The greatest asset you have as a Believer in Jesus Christ is a your unbroken connection with God. This should not be taken for granted…So, through daily fellowship with Him (prayer) and the study of His Word, you empower yourself to recognize His voice and obey Him in even the smallest act. The Holy Spirit being your guide, through this process. Like pieces of a puzzle, each step you take gradually enables you to see bigger and see clearer. There is a picture that begins to form out of the fog….

God’s will for your life and mine is not something that is given to you on a platter (although most Christians act like that) – you must discover what God desires for you to accomplish. That means spending quality time communing with Him and making His Word the final authority in every area and facet of your life.

The bible makes us to understand that being born again is the prerequisite to discovering your God-given assignment. (John 3;16) Accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior is the doorway to your destiny. Without Him guiding you, you won’t reach your final destination. But once you accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior of your life and begin seeking Him daily…things begin to fall into place….because He is beginning to revealing your purpose to you. Amen

LORD, TEACH ME TO PRAY…

We live and develop physically by exercise. We are saved by faith, (Ephesian 2:8) but we must work out our salvation by doing the things God wills. The more we do for God, the more God will do through us. Faith will increase by experience.

If you are a stranger to prayer you are a stranger to the greatest test source of power known to human beings. If we cared for our physical life in the same lackadaisical way that we care for,our spiritual, we would be as weak physically as we are spiritually. You go week in and week out without prayer. I want to be a giant for God. You don’t even sing; you let the choir do it. You go to prayer-meeting and offer no testimony.

Let us take a few examples from the life of Christ. In Mark we learn that he rose up early in the morning and went out to a solitary place and prayed (Mark 1:35). He began every day with prayer. You never get up without dressing. You never forget to wash your face and comb your hair. You always think of breakfast. You feed your physical body. Why do you starve your spiritual body? If nine-tenths of you were as weak physically as you are spiritually, you couldn’t walk.

LORD, TEACH US TO PRAY…(Luke 11:1)…. “Teach us to pray,” implies that I want to be taught. It’s a great privilege to be taught by Jesus.

In the prayer group, Faith in Action, we have come to pray out of the greatest need….to see souls come to Christ and people delivered by oppression of the Devil (John 10:10)…

Last night we had the most glorious time in the Lord. We have been traveling for the past few weeks, going to different homes and ministering in prayer and intercession. So this time we were at home and  I believe God knew we needed to be refreshed.

One of our members brought a young lady who was tormented by demons. She looked quite fearful and had expressed that the demons would manifest constantly at home and anywhere traveled. She was living in torment and had not slept in a while.

When we began to teach on revival, the demons began to manifest through an unknown tongue. Then as we progressed, the demons began to throw her to the ground, writhering and foaming. We, then began to minister to the young lady, casting out each demon. (Mark 16:17) They came out through her mouth with much phelm and vomit and she was gloriously delivered by the power of the Holy Spirit. To God be all the Glory, Honor and Praise.

We prayed that she receive the infilling of the Holy Spirit…She received and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit led. (Acts 2:4) The whole night after this was both joyus and powerful. To see the grace of God at work in this young lady’s life was a testament to God’s grace and mercy to those that believe.

Father, we thank you for your Love towards your people.

Every man and every woman that God has used to halt this sin-cursed world and set it going Godward has been a Christian of prayer. Martin Luther arose from his bed and prayed all night, and when the break of day came he called his wife and said to her, “It has come.” History records that on that very day King Charles granted religious toleration, a thing for which Luther had prayed.

“And whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in My name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son” (John 14:13). No man can ever be saved without Jesus Christ. There’s no way to God unless you come through Jesus Christ. It’s Jesus Christ or nothing.

“Lord, teach us to pray” (Luke 11:1)

Gathering of the Eagles

Isaiah 40:31, “They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”

Just like eagles very seldom flock together, these are found individually and in small groups around, but they know the Lord well and they are going to be seen and revealed in due time.

Scripture often refers to the eagle as a symbol of this renewing process.  Psalm 103:5 says that “our youth will be renewed like the eagle.”

“Youth” here, I believe, refers to the “original image” that God created us to have – His Love, His Wisdom and His Power.  As we renew our minds, it’s true, we’ll be transformed back into God’s Image, which is what God intended for us all along.

One of the reasons I believe God uses the eagle as a symbol of this transformation process is that the eagle is the only bird whose whole physical strength is literally renewed after each molting season.  In other words, only after the eagle has “put off” his old feathers, so to speak, does he actually receive “new” physical strength to soar above his enemies

.

And it’s the same with us.  When we “put off” the old and “put on” the new, we too receive God’s supernatural strength to soar above our enemies (Isaiah 59:19).

Another reason I believe God uses the eagle as a symbol of our renewal and transformation is because the eagle again comes from the only bird family that has “telescopic sight,” a kind of “zoom-in-focus” lens.  An eagle can search out objects literally miles away (indistinguishable to the human eye).  Eagles can see a quarter from over 200 yards away and a rabbit from over a mile away.  This, of course, increases their ability to judge and discern the true situation.

It’s the same with us. Our minds, when renewed by God’s Spirit, have the same supernatural ability.  We are able to judge, discern and pick up things that the natural eye (natural mind) would never be able to see or understand.  We are given the supernatural wisdom and ability to discern the true situation and see everything that happens to us from God’s vantage point.

These are the true over-comers.  “Overcoming” simply means freedom from self, freedom from our circumstances and freedom from others’ responses.

Having a renewed mind, “putting off” our own negative thoughts and “putting on” the Mind of Christ is the only way we can begin to see everything that happens to us from God’s perspective and not get buried by our own.

Celebrate Jesus

Christmas means different things to different people. For some, it is the most joyous time of the year and for others, they just want it to be over already. But regardless of feelings, the most important meaning of Christmas is to “Celebrate Jesus!” It is because of His birth that we have everything that we need. We have life, joy, peace, and unconditional love. We are never alone, He is always with us. His name is Emmanuel (Matt 1:23). His name is Wonderful. His name is Counselor. His name is the Prince of Peace! (Isaiah 9:6) We are free from sin.

When I reflect on the blessings that I received this year, which were in abundance, I am overjoyed! It’s not because of what I received but it’s because of the One who loves me so much! In John 10:10 we are warned that the thief comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus says that He has come so that we would have life and have it more abundantly. Have you ever stopped to think just how much God adores us that he would give His only son to live and die for us? Would you sacrifice one of your children or your only child to save humanity?

This year I learned a tremendous amount about trust and obedience. I am so thankful that Mary and Joseph were able to trust God and be obedient to give us the most precious gift. To me, one of the most significant indications of the birth of Jesus is in Matthew 1:18-25. There is a profound illustration in these verses of scripture. In verse 18 we discover that Mary and Joseph were to be married and that they had not contaminated their relationship with the intimate union of the flesh. We also learn that Mary was already with child. Here, the power of the Holy Spirit is revealed. Can you even imagine how devastated Joseph must have felt when he found out that Mary was already pregnant? In Matthew 1:19 Joseph’s character and integrity is unveiled. He didn’t want to disgrace Mary, but his ego was bruised. As Joseph contemplated divorce, we see in verse 20 that an angel appeared to him in a dream and told him not to be afraid to take Mary as his wife and explained how she conceived the child. In verses 21-23, the angel gives Joseph details and instructions about the birth of the baby. Then in verse 24, Joseph woke up and did as the angel of Lord told him. Ok…let’s be real…how many times have we received instructions that have come to us through dreams, and we haven’t obeyed them? Have you ever really stopped to realize the magnitude of what Joseph did? He obeyed the angel that appeared to him in a dream, kept Mary as his wife, and raised the child that she was pregnant with as his own. Oh, and let’s not forget about Mary…. Her trust, faith and obedience to God were revealed when she was prophesied to by the angel Gabriel in Luke 1:27-31. In verses 28, the way that Gabriel acknowledges Mary gives insight to her character. Remember Gabriel was sent by God, so in essence the words he used to greet her were derived by how God saw her. In verse 29, I see Mary as being humble and cautious. In verses 30-37 Gabriel prophesied to Mary about her birth and her cousin’s birth and in verse 38 she believed and confessed with her mouth the words which Gabriel spoke. Isn’t that just like God to promise you something that seems impossible and allow you to witness the manifestation of a miracle for someone else which somehow seems to increase your FAITH? It amazes me that in a few verses in Matthew and Luke both Joseph and Mary received and believed what angels told them. God used ordinary people to deliver such an extraordinary gift.

Let’s celebrate Jesus!

Merry Christmas,

KP

Confirmation From God

This morning I had a conversation with a friend of mine and she was searching for direction from God.  She told me that her and her husband wanted to refinance their house.  Up until this point they have been unsuccessful.  Their mortgage company told them they couldn’t help them because their account is in good standing… The lady that they spoke with told them that if they were facing foreclosure then they would be able to help.  As I listened to her, the words don’t give up came into my spirit.  She was also telling me that she has an opportunity to move into a house that her mom would bless her with.  I heard don’t move until the other house is refinanced.  As our conversation came to a close, I revealed to her what the Holy Spirit had revealed to me and she wasn’t pleased with the words that I spoke because she knew it would be a true Faith walk.  She said well, “I guess I will have to figure out what we’re going to do.”  I said,” It’s not for you to figure out, it’s for you to trust him.”  The last thing that I told her before we ended our conversation was to be still and know that God is God. (Psalm 46:10).  I received the following email after the conversation with my friend.  God always confirms His word.    Kathleen

Whose Battle Is It?
by Rick Warren

“But you will not even need to fight. Take your positions; then stand still and watch the Lord’s victory. He is with you, O people of Judah and Jerusalem. Do not be afraid or discouraged. Go out there tomorrow, for the Lord is with you!” 2 Chronicles 20:17 (NLT)

*** *** *** ***

In today’s passage, God is talking to King Jehoshaphat and the Israelites. They’re about to be attacked by three enemies: the Moabites, the Ammonites, and the Meunites.
Jehoshaphat had to be worried about how his people could defend themselves in such a battle, but God knew exactly what Jehoshaphat was thinking. He said, “You will not have to fight in this battle.” Now, that’s the kind of battle I like!
What God tells Jehoshaphat in this passage, and what he would remind us today, is this: “The battle is not yours; it’s mine. You don’t have to fight in it.”
In other words, it’s God’s problem. Let him solve it.
The fact is if you are God’s child, then your problems are his problems. And he’s much better at fighting your battles and solving your problems than you will ever be. Your job is to trust him to work it all out. Perhaps the reason we have so many tired, fatigued, and discouraged Christians is because we think, “It all depends on me.”
The day you resign as General Manager of the Universe, you’re going to find that it doesn’t fall apart. You can relax in faith, trusting that God is able to run things without your help.
Twice in this passage it says, “Don’t be afraid,” and “Don’t be discouraged.” When you face a seemingly impossible situation, don’t be afraid and don’t be discouraged. Has God ever lost a battle? No. He doesn’t lose battles.
There’s an important phrase in verse 17. God tells Jehoshaphat, “Take your positions and stand firm.” What does it mean to stand firm? It means to have a mental attitude of quiet confidence. It is never God’s will for you to run from a difficult situation. I’ve discovered that when I run from a difficult situation, inevitably God always brings it back around and gives me another chance. Why?
Because God wants us to learn – and he wants to teach us through experience – that in every situation he is sufficient. He is competent and capable and he will meet our needs in that situation. Don’t be afraid; fear is the opposite of faith.
You stand firm on two things:

  • The character of God– He’s faithful. He does not bring us this far just to let us down. He doesn’t bring you out on a limb and then cut off the limb. Have faith in the nature andcharacter of God.
  • The truth of his Word – God’s Word is faithful. You can count on the promises found in the Bible.

Stand still. Remember Who the battle belongs to. Trust that he is able to deliver you. And then watch him do it!

I forwarded this email to my girlfriend and told her that Pastor Robert sent it to me.  Her response was:

AWESOME!  WHAT A MIGHTY GOD WE SERVE.  LET YOUR PASTOR KNOW HE WAS A BLESSING TO ME TODAY.

THANKS SO MUCH FOR SENDING THIS.

LOVE YA!

God is always at work in us and around us.  It doesn’t matter what we see in the natural or what battle we find ourselves in because it’s not our fight anyway!

TRANSITIONING- PRESS FORWARD

Transition means passing from one condition to another. The Church is not going to remain like this FOREVER

We are going to be changed – transitioned – into a glorious Church, a powerful Church, and a Church without spot or wrinkle. The devil knows this. Jesus says he will build his church and the gates of hell will not prevail against it. Amen

The devil knows and sees the progress we are making. He senses the Church will have a fresh discernment of his devices. Spiritual perception.

Read 2 Corinthians 2:11. Have you ever been in that place where you didn’t know if the problems you were facing were demonic, a test from God, or simply the actions of well-meaning but immature Christians? The time is coming when the Church will have discernment like never before. A Powerful time of the manifested presence of God throughout America. A great Revival.

We’ll be able to cut through all the confusing spiritual red tape that the enemy throws at us and we will see clearly with great spiritual vision and perception. We won’t enter the battle half blind, but rather, we will blind the enemy and slaughter him (2 Kings 6:15-17). We will rush him and overtake him and take back the goods that he robbed from us.

Remember, you are not fighting against flesh and blood, unruly sheep, gossipmongers, etc., but satan himself (Ephesians 6:12). Stop looking in the natural. Your battle is not worldly; it’s spiritual and you are destined to win the battle.

Bottom Line: the devil wants you to quit! Don’t Do It!

The very thing you are facing is preparing you for greater fruitfulness. Nothing of lasting value comes without a struggle. Tend the flock and concentrate on your noble calling. Fainting? Read Luke 18:1-8.

Do not remove your hands from that plow. Stop looking back. There is nothing back there but a slippery slope. You know that. Look up. People are depending on you. Weaker saints are looking to you. You are valuable to God. You are loved greatly (1 John 3:1).

Do not listen to your emotions. They are a fertile field for the enemy’s attack. Your feelings will tell you to abandon the ship. Satan will tell you it isn’t worth it any longer. He lies. He always lies. Resist him (James 4:7). Tell him to go to his future home (Revelation 20:10).

Do not listen to the worldly talk and skeptical people (James 4:11-12) even if they are friends and family. Listen to your Father in Heaven. Some have never faced a battle like this. Perhaps you think at times that you are not going to make it. Some are not only fed up and ready to throw in the towel, but the whole kit and caboodle. Don’t do it.

God is building you through the fire for greater things. Do not live by your carnal desires and Carnal perception.. Most of the time, the devil is not your problem, you are the problem..your thinking!. Bring those thoughts unto the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:3-5).

Remember, Jesus is your burden-bearer. This trial will end. You are being made into something beautiful (1 John 3:2) because God is beautiful (Psalm 90:17).

The flood, the fire, the wind and the waves will not overtake you! “When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee” (Isaiah 43:2).

Even in your weakness, God “will guide you always; He will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail” (Isaiah 58:11).

Listen, you’re going to make it. Yes, you’ve made mistakes, but He is protecting you and gently guiding your life into the place of victory. Some of you have been in the desert for years. Before he began his ministry, Paul served time in the desert (Galatians 1:17) and now you are about to come out of yours. Don’t fear, you’ll come through this and then you will start shouting like never before!

Pastor Robert

TIME OF VISITATION

“Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire? Who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings?”(Isaiah 33:14)

The fire of God will never go out. We should have a hunger for more of God and his Holy Spirit.

This was the first thing that struck Moses as he observed the burning bush – the bush did not burn up, but neither did the flames die down. The temple fires on the altar of burnt offerings and the altar of incense never went out; it was holy fire. The Day of Pentecost was not something the disciples looked back upon with nostalgia and longing. That day extended throughout their lives. We read a little about their experience on the Day of Pentecost, but it takes the whole book of Acts to tell the full story – and even then it is not over! The fires of God do not diminish as time goes by. Their fuel sources are eternal, inexhaustible. As we read in Zechariah, the seven lamps received an endless supply of oil direct from the olive trees.

At the time of Pentecost in Jerusalem, magnificent aqueducts brought water from the hills to the city of Rome. Now all that remains of that remarkable piece of engineering are ruins. The arches are broken and the channels are dry.

Is that also true of Pentecost? Does it belong to a long-ago age, 20 centuries before modern times? Is there no longer an Upper Room, no more wind and fire? Is an idealized, stiff representation in stained glass all that a church now has of what was once its vitality?

Has the Church lost it’s favor?. It’s Fire?. Or are we so taken with the love of this world’s goods: TV, Football games and good food. But, there is shaking coming….a stiring of the Spirit…to bring us back to divine relationship, back to the truth….that Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life (John 14:6)

But, you know what, we like to do it ourselves! If revival is truly a heavenly visitation, that means that we can’t manufacture it or produce it of ourselves. We have to be dependent on God. But that’s the best place to be! He wants to bring this stiring within us more than we want to see it. He wants to bless more than we want to be blessed. He has invested far more into this dying world than we have, and He has far more at stake. What better place to be than at the feet of the Lord in fervent prayer, crying out: “Revive Your people O God, Revive Us, Give Us a Day of Visitation!!”

And when He comes in power He will not only act. He will speak! Revival is characterized by the Word of God on fire. It is not simply a matter of making time in every service for teaching and preaching. It is not just giving the Word its proper place. We’ve had our fill of the pulpits that “honor the Word,” and many believers today are “taught to death.” They have become “spiritually fat” and lazy. No, it is a matter of the Word on fire, a matter of hearing the urgent message of the hour: “Repent” for the day is at hand” For it’s only through deep repentance can we hear from God (2 Chron 7:14)

We want a fire-baptized church. It is time for us to stand up, speak up, and never shut up. Let our tongues be set on fire by the Holy Spirit. Early Christians were burned like candles to light the gardens of Nero. We must burn like candles of God in the pitch darkness of this god-ignorant world. A man on fire is not afraid of what man can do to him. We know Him who is true; let us speak as if we do. The fire can only do as much as we let it. The Spirit will only bless where we go.

We must set this nation ablaze if only with our contention. Yes, we will be controversial figures but, we will also make godlessness controversial, showing it up for what it is; an object of scorn. Unbelief and the rejection of Christ bring every kind of wrong and wickedness in their train. The world is insane. It is insane to doubt God, the resurrection, and the Word of God.

Churches ablaze with enthusiasm, creating a national forest fire. Revival means fire; people who have real fire, burning publicly. Revival does not come if you stay comfortably indoors and pray for God to move. God will fire-baptize you and then send you out as Samson sent out the foxes with torches tied to their tails.

Jeremiah the prophet was the sort of man we want, millions of them. He was discouraged, but he could not keep quiet, for he said the word of God was like a fire shut up in his bones (Jer 20:9).

We come back to our first question. Our God is a consuming fire.

Can you live with Him, with the everlasting burnings? If you don’t, will you ever be able to live with yourself?

EN FUEGO

Fire shall be kept burning continually on the altar; it is not to go out (Leviticus 6:13)

God, through his Holy Spirit has been setting ablaze a new move of his Spirit throughout this Florida region in a greater way. And for the past few months the Lord has been saying, “Get before me, consecrate yourself, I am bringing “FIRE ON THE ALTAR”

We are in the midst of a renewed visitation that is manifesting the glory of the Lord! The Lord has been opening our eyes to the simple truth: “PRAY CORPORATELY”…this is where everything begins and ends in the realm of the Spirit. Where everything is accomplished in and for the church. (2 Chron 7:14)

Someone once said ” One of the problems we have is that we are afraid of wildfire that we have no fire” God wants his Kingdom of kings and priests to once again take the fire from his presence and rush it with godly zeal to the people in need. (Numbers 16; 44-49)  God wants his Church to once again be transformed through his glory, just like he transformed Aaaron. The call is for his priestly people to rise  up and personally carry the holy fire of his presence to this generation for their salvation and for the glory of God.

Are we hungry for authentic revival in the land? Does your heart burn within you for compassion for the lost? To see and do the works of Christ? Then let us stand in the gap right here and right now, putting aside all limitations, intimidations and every entanglement with religion. Let us lay aside every weight, every sin and even our very lives for the sake of others before God.

And as we stand on God’s word through prayer and intercession we as his Church present ourselves on His altar as living sacrifices (see Rom. 12:1) Let’s offer continual sacrifices of praise with the incense of prayer to bring God’s glory into our region.

Even so, let the fires on the altar come continue tumbling forth. Let God’s priest prostrate themselves at all times before him.  Let us remain “EN FUEGO” (on fire, aflame) before his presence!

REPRESENTING CHRIST

For the past few weeks we have positioned ourselves in Daytona Village’s parking lot, reaching out to the lost and backslidden. We represented God as ambassadors, yet God has give us a mandate to reach the lost at any cost. We have no excuse, for the commission is to goMatt. 28:19 – Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost…

We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God. (2 Cor. 5:20)

Yet when I preach the gospel, I cannot boast, for I am compelled to preach. Woe to me if I do not preach the gospel! (1 Cor 9:16)

In the weeks that Faith In Action was there, we prayed for and reached many people through the gospel. We had a prayerwalk around the apartment complex, tearing down stronghold, being “violent” for the Kingdom of God. How violent Christ was about or salvation! He was in agony: He “continued all night in prayer” (Luke 6:12). He wept, fasted, and died a violent death; He rose violently from the grave Was Christ so violent about for our salvation, and does it not become us to be violent for the souls of man? Christ’s violence was not only satisfactory, but exemplary. It was not only to appease God, but to teach us. Christ was violent in dying to teach us to be violent in believing.

Through the gifts of the Holy Spirit and prayer, people were set free from demonic strongholds and oppression. There were times when we sensed the fire of God burning within us as we agonized for this neighborhood. Hell was not an option for this place.

And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling. And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: (1 Cor 2:3,4)

We must do all within our means, through the will of the Holy Spirit to stop, prevent or deter these men and women from the tortures of hell! Can we expect to do any less?

The Spirit of God is clearing the way for a great move of God. We are praying for revival. Good News from the Spirit! Revival is Coming! People are Praying! This is the Year of The Opened Door! and the Flood Gates (Doors) of Heaven are Open! If you want to be apart of what is coming its not too late, Draw Near to God and He will Draw Near to You, take your place in Prayer and by doing so you will be taking your place in the Revival that is coming. But it will only come as we become prostrate before the Lord in intercession and supplication for the lost.

On the last day, we felt the storm brewing, for in times past we have had dozens of people coming forward for prayer, re-dedication and salvation; on this night though, all was quiet all around, yet something was brewing…..God was up to something. We have realized that this was not we can do or say, but all through the power of God. The pastor taught on hell and the fire of God, and one could sense the heat… “This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the LORD Almighty. (Zech 4:6)

As Christians we need the fire of God to ignite our passion and we need to preach the hell-fire of God to ignite this lost world, as EM Bounds says….Christian character needs to be set on fire. Lack of heat makes more infidels than lack of faith. Not to be in fiery earnest about the things of heaven is not to be about them at all. The fiery souls are the ones that win in the heavenly fight. Nothing short of red hot can keep the glow of heaven in these chilly times. We must grasp the live coal and covet the consuming flame.

Pray for this ministry as we go forth to do what God has called us to do, to be:

(1) fully surrendered..
(2) men & Women of prayer,
(3) student of the Word of God,
(4) humble
(5) free from love of money,
(6) consuming passion for the lost,
(7) definite enduement with power from on high.

The world is yet to see what one man or woman totally consecrated to God can do.

We have to represent…..

OPEN HEAVEN

“Then, after doing all those things,I will pour out my Spirit upon all people.Your sons and daughters will prophesy.Your old men will dream dreams, and your young men will see visions. 29 In those days I will pour out my Spirit even on servants—men and women alike. Joel 2:27-29

When we first started this Prayer Group, we envisioned the Holy Spirit doing great things among ourselves and our family. And as usual, we limited God in our lives. We have found out that God is up to something that’s bigger an greater than us. It has been not just physical preaching, our physically exerting effort in ministry, and not just saying a perfunctory prayer, but as the apostle Paul stated:

1And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God. 2For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. 3And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling. 4And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: (I Cor. 2:1-4)

We returned to Daytona Village with this apprehension, that like in the past the Holy Spirit will do great things through us as we intercede for the lost As you enter this complex, the compassion of God takes over; the neighborhood kids are out among the drug addicts and you can sense the heart of God breaking for His young ones.

The room was totally full. We had 6 kids and 12 Adults in this small apartment and the Holy Spirit took over. After the teaching, the power of God was thick, as we entered the Fourth Dimension through petition and intercession for our nation, Israel, the church and the lost. This dimension is where the real spiritual battle of the Kingdom occurs daily and intensely and where Christ is glorified. 12For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Ephesians 6:12

As the Spirit of God began to move among the prayer group. The cry of souls reached it’s utmost peak. “Give us souls or we die” It’s not enough that we pray, it’s not enough that our needs are met, while people were are dying among us and around us. Jesus said ; For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost. Luke 19:10. We are here to bring the lost to Jesus Christ at any cost.

The anointing in this room shifted and prayer was initiated towards the people. A young lady was called forward and the power of God totally transformed her life. She made a commitment to Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit revealed to her that God was aware of the abuse and then her consequential choice of a homosexual lifestyle. The Spirit of seduction was called out and this author believes that God delivered her from that bondage. The power of God was manifested among the children present as well. There was one young lady in particular, about 12 years old, who came forward; she was quite hesitant at first and as it was explained to her what was happening, she began to cry. As the power of God fell upon her, she was engulfed in the Holy Spirit and fell out under the anointing, without a finger being laid on her. Praise God! And as the other children began to receive from God, all of them received Christ into their hearts.

As the anointing flowed among the group member, a spirit of Joy , Holy Ghost laughter broke out. The members were on the floor experiencing the joy of the Lord in a powerful way.

What is revival? It is God “stepping down from heaven” and baring His holy arm. He comes and acts and speaks. There is a holy presence and a word on fire. God is in the midst of His people. The Lord is shaking the world. That is revival! It is a time of visitation. We are ready for it! If it is confined to one church it is not revival. If it is confined to the meetings themselves it is not revival. If it can all be traced to the efforts of man it is not revival. If it does not ultimately affect the society it is not revival. We are totally dependant upon the Holy Spirit When Jesus was on the earth, He explained to His disciples that it was better for Him to go away so that the Holy Spirit could come. Jesus could only be in one place at one time, but the Holy Spirit could be everywhere. Jesus could directly touch only those who heard and saw Him, but the Holy Spirit could directly touch people anywhere at anytime — even if they were resisting and running. He transcends all human agency! In revival, the Holy Spirit moves deeply and widely, supernaturally and powerfully. He goes into the homes and schools, into the places of business and the places of sin, and He brings the sense of the reality of God. He brings conviction! It is impossible to flee from God during revival. It brings souls to himself. And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me. John 12: 32

We are under an OPEN HEAVEN. (To be continued)
