We live and develop physically by exercise. We are saved by faith, (Ephesian 2:8) but we must work out our salvation by doing the things God wills. The more we do for God, the more God will do through us. Faith will increase by experience.
If you are a stranger to prayer you are a stranger to the greatest test source of power known to human beings. If we cared for our physical life in the same lackadaisical way that we care for,our spiritual, we would be as weak physically as we are spiritually. You go week in and week out without prayer. I want to be a giant for God. You don’t even sing; you let the choir do it. You go to prayer-meeting and offer no testimony.
Let us take a few examples from the life of Christ. In Mark we learn that he rose up early in the morning and went out to a solitary place and prayed (Mark 1:35). He began every day with prayer. You never get up without dressing. You never forget to wash your face and comb your hair. You always think of breakfast. You feed your physical body. Why do you starve your spiritual body? If nine-tenths of you were as weak physically as you are spiritually, you couldn’t walk.
LORD, TEACH US TO PRAY…(Luke 11:1)…. “Teach us to pray,” implies that I want to be taught. It’s a great privilege to be taught by Jesus.
In the prayer group, Faith in Action, we have come to pray out of the greatest need….to see souls come to Christ and people delivered by oppression of the Devil (John 10:10)…
Last night we had the most glorious time in the Lord. We have been traveling for the past few weeks, going to different homes and ministering in prayer and intercession. So this time we were at home and I believe God knew we needed to be refreshed.
One of our members brought a young lady who was tormented by demons. She looked quite fearful and had expressed that the demons would manifest constantly at home and anywhere traveled. She was living in torment and had not slept in a while.
When we began to teach on revival, the demons began to manifest through an unknown tongue. Then as we progressed, the demons began to throw her to the ground, writhering and foaming. We, then began to minister to the young lady, casting out each demon. (Mark 16:17) They came out through her mouth with much phelm and vomit and she was gloriously delivered by the power of the Holy Spirit. To God be all the Glory, Honor and Praise.
We prayed that she receive the infilling of the Holy Spirit…She received and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit led. (Acts 2:4) The whole night after this was both joyus and powerful. To see the grace of God at work in this young lady’s life was a testament to God’s grace and mercy to those that believe.
Father, we thank you for your Love towards your people.
Every man and every woman that God has used to halt this sin-cursed world and set it going Godward has been a Christian of prayer. Martin Luther arose from his bed and prayed all night, and when the break of day came he called his wife and said to her, “It has come.” History records that on that very day King Charles granted religious toleration, a thing for which Luther had prayed.
“And whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in My name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son” (John 14:13). No man can ever be saved without Jesus Christ. There’s no way to God unless you come through Jesus Christ. It’s Jesus Christ or nothing.

What a mighty God we serve, angels (and I join in) bow before Him, heaven and earth adore him, ….. Look what the Lord has done, Look what the Lord has done, he healed my body, he touched my mind, he saved me just in time. (song led by Pastor Robert ) as we whupped up on some demons last Monday, with the help of the Lord. God is so awesome, the transformation that this woman had upon entering the prayer group from cowering in fear, face contorted, and the voice(s) that were demonic coming from her. We witnessed after Pastor Robert taught on Revival, the demons tried to stir but Pastor Robert, Dorothy and others speaking the word of God and they not only
were silenced but had to flee. I recall Pastor Robert was speaking so hungry for a move of God that people everywhere will fall on their faces in repentance. At that moment is when the demons caused the woman to fall to the floor, writhing. (the scripture came to me “every knee will bow”) As we prayed, I look back and realized how unforgiveness, iniquity and straight out rebellion can and will open up the door to the demonic realm, God help us all to stay in a place of forgiveness and obedience to God’s word and be sensitive to the moving of the Holy Spirit. Many things I learned that night but the top 3 are, forgiveness, repentance and not quenching the Holy Spirit when he tells us to do something is so key to our own personal breakthroughs. ( I had just asked someone to forgive, right before prayer, although the Holy Spirit had been dealing with me days earlier. I saw the importance of unity in the body of Christ that night, being on one accord together snatching a soul out of the fire. Let’s continue to pray for the sister that was delivered and one for another.
